About AWEC:
AWEC is a non-political, non-profit, woman-headed national organization established in 1991 by a group of educated Afghan women in exile, who rallied together to address the lack of facilities for Afghan refugees in Islamabad and eventually Peshawar, in Pakistan. AWEC has always been involved in advocacy and awareness-raising for women and children’s rights while providing services to those who frequently fall through safety nets. In recent years, one of AWEC’s core activities has been to support women through mobilizing Afghans, from local communities to political elites, towards the goal of reducing and eventually eliminating violence against women.

Job Description:
Position Objective
Under the supervision of Logistic officer/Procurement officer maintain an effective and efficient procurement management system for both AWEC main office and its sub-offices
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Specific Duties Including Travel, Community & association activities & public speaking.
- Assist Logistic officer in procurement of requested program support items, in accordance with AWEC procurement procedures & finance protocols.
- Preparing goods receive notes, making stock cards & making sure storage of goods based on goods storage requirement
- Deliver all requested & purchased items in timely manner to facilitate program & operational needs without gap.
- Maintain records of all purchased & delivered items in Kabul & field offices.
- Prepare receive, transfer & disposal documents for all inventory items
- Conduct physical count of all the inventory items as per the physical count schedule in Kabul & provinces and report any difference to his/her supervisor in coordination with Finance department.
- Assistance in dealing with government such as custom clearance, traffic department, ministry of Finance and local Security departments.
- Manage the vehicles movement, Log sheet fueling & maintenance
- Perform any clerical tasks or data entry activities
- Any other tasks assigned by respective supervisor

Qualifications:
- Bachelor Degree
- Diploma/Certificate in Business Administration or similar field
Experience & Skills:
- 2- 3 years work experience in an equivalent position in related field
- Excellent Language proficiency in spoken and written Dari, Pashto & English is a requirement
- Listen to others, interpreting correctly messages and responding appropriately; pose questions for clarification, and exhibit interest in having two-way communication.
- Identification, organization, and execution of priority activities and assignments with minimal direct supervision, adjusting priorities as required
- Allocation of appropriate amount of time and resources for the completion of assigned tasks
- Ability to work collaborative with colleagues at all levels to achieve project goals and ability to work under pressure
