Job Description:
JEAO is currently implementing a Community-Based Nursing School project (CNS) in Ghor Province. The project aims to strengthen women’s income-generating capacities by developing professional nursing and midwifery skills, the CNS will also contribute to improved maternal and infant health in rural and remote areas.
Job Requirements:

- Manage over all office affairs related to Community Based Nursing School, CNS.
- Lead and support the team to develop and implement theoretical and practical lessons in alignment with relevant policies of GIHS and Midwives Council. Ensuring coordination with line health centers for students to carry out practical classes in the respective health facilities.
- Lead and oversee CNS project team to ensure quality of training provided to students in the Badakhshan province.
- Support the staff and trainers to develop training and implementation plan in accordance to the existence curriculum.
- Maintain good working relations with line official authorities including governor’s office, Department Public Health and Institute of Health Science.
- Ensure adherence to protocols and hygiene procedures, maintaining quality care and services in the center hostel and all related premises.
- Manage and supervise medical equipment, including drug orders, stock follow-up, and inventory management.
- Conduct regular monitoring and evaluation to ensure quality teaching by Nursing trainers.
- Coordinate administrative and HR tasks for the project in the respective province.
- Create productive and trust worthy relationship with the students’ parents and local communities for their continued support.
- Ensure smooth running of the classes where students have the opportunity to learn courses on nursing but also exercise extra curriculum activities to growth their knowledge and inter personal skill.
- Ensure timely reporting to JEAO head quarter and facilitate donor or JEAO HQ field visit.
- Provide timing audio and video materials for JEAO publication use.
- Ensure students relevance attendance in the classes as well as in the hostel.
- Monitor the kindergarten to ensure children are provided with standard service
- Coordinate with line authorities for job placement of graduated students in the designated health facilities.
