Afghan mission is the oldest of PUI missions, with the first medical intervention launched in 1979 just after the Soviet troops crossed the country’s borders. PU-AMI teams currently deliver the integrated health care, combined with nutrition, psychosocial support; water, sanitation and hygiene (wash), as well as trauma services. The organization implements projects mainly in eastern parts of the country, and increasingly in the South-East Region. Since the COVID-19 outbreak in 2020, PU-AMI has also positioned itself as one of the main actors in preparedness and response to the pandemic, implementing health and wash-cantered activities at health facilities and community level in Kabul and beyond.

تیم های  پی یو ای ام آی متعهد به حمایت  و کمک جوامع و جمعیت های آسیب پذیر به انهاییکه در اإثر منازعات- حوادث طبیعی و رکود اقتصادی منزوی شده اند میباشد.  هدف عمده پی یو ای ام آی کمک در کاهش مرگ و میر -کمک عاجل به اعاده و بازیابی حیثیت ووقار  انهاییکه در نیاز فوری قرار دارند میباشد.

ماموریت افغانستان  قدیمی  ترین مآموریت پی یو آی بوده و  با اولین مداخله در بخش صحی در سال1979  فقط درست بعد از عبور نیروهای شوروی از مرز های کشور آغاز شد.

تیم های پی یو ای ام آی در حال حاضر مراقبت های صحی ادغام یافته همراه با تغذیه حمایت روانی اجتماعی-آب-نظافت و حفظ ا لصحه واش و خدمات  تردیدات یا تروما را ارایه میدارد.

پی یو ای ام آی  همچنین منحیث بازیگر اصلی در آمادگی و پاسخ به بیماری همه گیر – اجرای فعالیت های صحی و واش در سطح مراکز صحی و جامعه در کابل و فراتر از آن موقعیت خود را تثبیت نموده است.

Responsibilities and particular assignmentsمسؤلیت ها و وظایف مشخص

General Responsibilitiesمسؤلیت های عمومی:

Provision of OPD services and community awareness on diseases and vaccines.

Referral of severe patients including complicated SAM patients.

Providing the on-time reports

Participation in the meeting with the mother-to-mother support groups,

Supervise the pharmacy section regularly.

Supervise the pharmacy report and stock cards and provide feedback to the pharmacy responsible.

Close coordination for the improvement and quality of care with the MHT staff.

Supervise all sections on daily basis to provide support to the staff.

Objective 1هدف اول:

Activities/Main dutiesفعالیت ها/ وظایف عمده:

– Based on the plan, going to the field together with all the personnel

– Before going to the field, make sure that all the equipment which are needed in the field are ready and available

– Providing of health services at those points in the communities which has been specified already and which has been agreed upon by the people of the community. (The areas where IDPs live are points of focus/attention for this team).

Objective 2هدف دوم:

Activities/Main dutiesفعالیت ها/ وظایف عمده:

– checking of patients (child & women)

– Writing of prescription for patients according to their health problems, and taking the rules of the MoPH into consideration while prescribing drugs are necessary.

– Provision of health education for patients about their disease

– Provision of drugs to the patient according to their prescription

– Provision of necessary instructions about the given drugs to the patients

–  Sending of mothers and children to the relevant person for implementation of vaccine

Objective 3هدف سوم:

Activities/Main dutiesفعالیت ها/ وظایف عمده:

– supervising the vaccination and nursing services and provision of necessary instructions to the relevant person for improvement;

– supervising the mother and child health services and also the mental health services and provision of necessary recommendations to the relevant persons

– making sure that the documents related to the above-mentioned services are available and checking them to make sure that they have been filled completely and kept.

Objective 4هدف چهارم:

Activities/Main dutiesفعالیت ها/ وظایف عمده:

– Preparation of monthly reports

– Participating in the meetings

– Attending of trainings to which invited

–  Informing of the supervisor about the happening of an outbreak

–  Informing of the supervisor about the displacement of people or newly displaced people

– Conducting of meetings with the personnel according to the plan

– Provision of report about the consumption of drugs to the relevant supervisor or pharmacy in-charge.

Qualification/ Requirements تحصیلات و شرایط لازمه

•           Graduated from a recognized medical faculty, and has passed exit exam.

•             having attested documents

•           Good communication skills

•           Able to speak local language (Pashto/ Dari)

•           2-year NGO experience would be a significant asset

•           2 years working experience in the same position as medical doctor

•           Resident is preferable

•             Having experience in BPHS is an assets

•           Should be familiar with BPHS and HMIS system.
